Amazing Landscapes

Residenza San Vito is located in Calamandrana, in Piedmont region.

Reachable within 1.5 hours from Milano and 1.20 hours from Torino, by car.

Once you arrive here, you'll be able to reach both the seaside and the mountains in just 1 hour by car, so it's the perfect destination both for summer and winter season.

Calamandrana is a small country town between two amazing cities like Canelli and Nizza Monferrato.

Canelli is known for its Spumante and is believed to be the birthplace of Italian sparkling wine. There are many great wine producers in Canelli and in the surrounding areas such as Gancia, Bosca, Contratto, Coppo and Avezza. In Bosca, Coppo and Contratto it is possible to book a visit to their underground cellars, with an adjoining wine tasting afterwards.

Nizza Monferrato is a beautiful and fascinating city, with many restaurants and shops, and is located in the heart of the place where Nizza D.O.C.G. is produced, which is thought to be the best area to produce Barbera d'Asti.

Piedmont is known for its fantastic red wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco and Barbera and also for Spumante such as Moscato and Alta Langa. There are many small and large local producers that you can visit to enjoy a magnificent tasting and to buy their own wines afterwards.

This region is also recognized for the famous white truffle that every autumn brings a lot of tourism, both to taste it and to witness the magic behind the search for this white gold, with a local truffle hunter and his dog.

Piedmont is also known for having the best hazelnuts in the world, and you can find trees of this healthy dry fruit everywhere in this area. Manufacturers like Ferrero are also nearby.

In 2014, Unesco included Langhe, Roero and Monferrato in the list of World Heritage Sites, thanks to the exceptional importance of their wines and their culture in Italy.
